Dear members of the Qatari and international basketball family,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF) — a gateway to the world of basketball in the State of Qatar, where our proud sporting heritage meets our future aspirations, in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030.
Qatari basketball has witnessed remarkable progress over the past years, thanks to the continuous efforts of the Federation, clubs, players, coaches, administrators, and all those working tirelessly behind the scenes. We believe that sport is not merely about competition, but a means to build character and promote noble values within our society.
Our support for the Federation stems from a deep belief in the vital role of sport in shaping a strong, educated, and creative generation capable of representing Qatar with pride and distinction on the international stage.
We look forward to achieving even greater accomplishments and to seeing Qatari basketball reach new heights regionally and globally.
We take great pride in our regional, continental, and international achievements — and in the fact that the State of Qatar will host the 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup, becoming the first country in the Middle East to do so. This event will serve as an opportunity to showcase our global capabilities, highlight our sporting legacy, celebrate our Arab culture, and present our national identity to the world.
I invite everyone to join us in building a brighter future for basketball in Qatar and beyond.
Wishing you an enjoyable experience in the world of basketball.
