The competitions of the 2026-2027 U19 General Basketball League will continue on Monday, September 21, 2026, with two matches scheduled at the Qatar Basketball Federation Hall as part of the opening round.
In the first game, Al Shamal will take on Qatar SC at 5:00 PM, while Al Ahli will face Al Rayyan at 6:30 PM. All four teams will be aiming to make a strong start to their campaign in the championship.
The opening round got underway with two matches that saw victories for Al Sadd and Al Arabi. Al Sadd secured a dominant 90-35 win over Al Khor, while Al Arabi defeated Al Wakrah 74-57. The two winning teams collected their first two points of the competition, while Al Khor and Al Wakrah each earned one point.
Monday’s fixtures carry significant importance as they complete the first round of matches. Al Shamal and Qatar SC will be looking to begin their league journey with a victory, while Al Ahli and Al Rayyan will seek the same outcome in the second encounter, with a win providing an important boost at the start of the competition.
The second round will be played over two days. On Monday, September 28, Qatar SC will meet Al Wakrah at 5:00 PM, while Al Rayyan will face Al Shamal at 6:30 PM.
The second round will conclude on Monday, October 5, with Al Arabi taking on Al Khor at 5:00 PM, followed by Al Sadd against Al Gharafa at 6:30 PM.
The third round will begin on Tuesday, November 3, featuring Al Wakrah vs. Al Rayyan at 5:00 PM and Al Khor vs. Qatar SC at 6:30 PM. The round will continue on Tuesday, November 10, with Al Gharafa facing Al Arabi at 5:00 PM and Al Shamal meeting Al Ahli at 6:30 PM.
The fourth round will also be played over two days. On Monday, November 16, Al Rayyan will take on Al Khor at 5:00 PM, while Al Ahli will face Al Wakrah at 6:30 PM.
The fourth round will conclude on Monday, November 23, with Qatar SC playing Al Gharafa at 5:00 PM, followed by Al Arabi against Al Sadd at 6:30 PM.
