The clash promises to be a thrilling encounter between two teams that have delivered consistent and impressive performances throughout the tournament.

Al Arabi booked their place in the final with a commanding 89–70 victory over Al Ahli in the semifinals, asserting their dominance from the outset. Earlier, they had secured their semifinal berth with a resounding 104–73 win over Qatar Club in the quarterfinals, showcasing their offensive strength and tactical stability.

On the other side, Al Sadd advanced to the final after defeating Al Rayyan 87–72 in a hard-fought semifinal, relying on their experience to seal the game in the closing stages. Al Sadd had previously overcome Al Shamal 107–96 in the quarterfinals, underlining their readiness to contend for the title.

Al Arabi enters the final with ambitions of completing a historic treble this season, having already clinched the League Championship and the Qatar Cup. Meanwhile, Al Sadd will lean on the experience of their seasoned players to prevail in this high-stakes showdown. Small details—such as shooting accuracy, rebounding control, and minimizing errors—are expected to play a decisive role in determining the champion.

The Qatar Basketball Federation has announced that tickets for the final are available for electronic booking via the Snoonu app, with prices starting at QAR 15. Entry will be free for children under five. The Federation also unveiled a newly designed championship trophy and modern medal designs, aimed at enhancing the visual identity and prestige of the season’s concluding event.

Last season, Al Rayyan claimed the title after defeating Al Arabi 77–70 at Al Gharafa Hall. The Amir Cup Basketball Championship was first launched in the 1999–2000 season, with Al Rayyan winning the inaugural edition against Al Arabi. Al Rayyan remains the most decorated team in the competition, reaching the final 14 times and securing 10 titles. Al Gharafa has won five titles, Al Sadd four, Al Arabi three, while Qatar Club and Al Jaish have each lifted the trophy twice.
