The 2026-2027 Qatar U19 Basketball League will resume action with the second round of competition, scheduled to be played over two matchdays. Clubs will be aiming to build on positive starts and strengthen their positions in the standings following an opening round that featured several highly competitive encounters.
The second round tips off on Monday, September 28, with two matches at the Qatar Basketball Federation Hall. Qatar SC will face Al Wakrah at 5:00 PM, while Al Rayyan will take on Al Shamal at 6:30 PM. Al Ahli will have a bye during this round.
Round 2 action will continue on Monday, October 5, with Al Arabi meeting Al Khor at 5:00 PM, followed by Al Sadd against Al Gharafa at 6:30 PM.
The opening round produced several notable results. Qatar SC defeated Al Shamal 88-57 to begin its campaign with a victory worth two points, while Al Shamal earned one point. Al Ahli edged Al Rayyan 81-79 to collect two points, with Al Rayyan receiving one point. Al Sadd recorded a commanding 90-35 win over Al Khor, while Al Arabi defeated Al Wakrah 74-57. Both Al Sadd and Al Arabi secured two points for their victories, while Al Khor and Al Wakrah each earned one point. Al Gharafa had a bye in the opening round.
The league will continue with Round 3 on Tuesday, November 3, featuring Al Wakrah vs. Al Rayyan at 5:00 PM and Al Khor vs. Qatar SC at 6:30 PM. The round will conclude on Tuesday, November 10, with Al Gharafa vs. Al Arabi at 5:00 PM and Al Shamal vs. Al Ahli at 6:30 PM, while Al Sadd will enjoy a bye.
Round 4 will also be played over two matchdays. On Monday, November 16, Al Rayyan will face Al Khor at 5:00 PM, followed by Al Ahli against Al Wakrah at 6:30 PM. The round will conclude on Monday, November 23, with Qatar SC taking on Al Gharafa at 5:00 PM, and Al Arabi meeting Al Sadd at 6:30 PM. Al Shamal will have a bye during this round.
