Students sparkle in SOP basketball competition

DOHA, February 27, 2017 – The basketball competitions for intermediate and secondary schools (boys) of the tenth edition of Schools Olympic Program (SOP) continued successfully at the basketball federation indoor at Al Gharafa SC on Sunday.

Around 147 students representing 14 intermediate schools and 107 students representing 10 secondary schools showed impressive performance and good skills in the basketball game.

The prestigious program is jointly organized by the Qatar School Sport Federation (QSSF) and Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

In a pre-event release on Sunday, Mr. Ali Al Hitmi, the QSSF Secretary General described the Schools Olympic Program as integral part of Qatar national vision 2030 aims to build society enjoy with health and prosperity.
