The competitions of the Qatar U14 Basketball League for the 2026-2027 sports season will continue on Saturday, September 19, 2026, with two matches taking place at the Qatar Basketball Federation Hall as part of the first round of the opening stage.
Al Ahli will face Al Wakrah at 4:00 PM, while Al Arabi will meet Qatar SC at 5:00 PM, marking the first appearance of all four teams in this season’s competition.
Saturday’s fixtures come following the league’s opening matches last Saturday, which saw Al Rayyan defeat Al Shamal 63-15, while Al Sadd overcame Al Khor 30-11. The victories earned Al Rayyan and Al Sadd their first two points of the season, while Al Shamal and Al Khor each collected one point.
The opening round carries particular significance for teams making their first appearance in the competition, as the start of the season provides an early opportunity to establish their position in the title race. The tournament features nine clubs: Qatar SC, Al Sadd, Al Rayyan, Al Arabi, Al Gharafa, Al Wakrah, Al Ahli, Al Shamal, and Al Khor.
The second round is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, with Al Ahli taking on Al Shamal at 4:00 PM, followed by a match between Al Arabi and Al Wakrah at 5:00 PM.
The remaining second-round matches will be played on October 3, 2026, when Al Rayyan faces Al Khor at 4:00 PM, followed by a clash between Al Sadd and Al Gharafa at 5:00 PM.
Round Three will feature Al Shamal against Al Arabi at 4:00 PM on October 31, 2026, at the Federation Hall, followed by Al Khor versus Al Ahli at 5:00 PM.
The round will continue on November 7, 2026, with Al Gharafa meeting Al Rayyan at 4:00 PM, followed by Al Wakrah against Qatar SC at 5:00 PM.
In Round Four, Al Arabi will face Al Khor at 4:00 PM on November 14, followed by Qatar SC against Al Shamal at 5:00 PM.
Meanwhile, on November 21, Al Ahli will take on Al Gharafa at 4:00 PM, while Al Rayyan meets Al Sadd at 5:00 PM.
