Al Gharafa team was crowned champion of the first round of the Qatar Basketball Federation’s Under-19 3×3 Clubs Basketball League, which was held at Court No. 2 in the Federation Hall on the evening of Thursday, January 22, 2026. This came after they defeated Al Arabi in the final match with a score of 21-16.
The tournament kicked off with exciting matches throughout the day, featuring several thrilling encounters in the group stage.
In Group One:
• Al Rayyan defeated Al Arabi 21-17
• Al Shamal beat Al Arabi 19-17
• Al Shamal achieved another victory over Al Rayyan 21-16
In Group Two:
• Al Gharafa defeated Al Wakrah 21-4
• Al Gharafa continued their strong performance by beating Al Ahli 21-8
• Al Ahli, in turn, defeated Al Wakrah 18-8
In Group Three:
• Al Sadd defeated Al Khor 21-8
• Al Sadd beat Qatar SC 19-13
• Qatar SC defeated Al Khor 21-10
In the semi-finals:
• Al Arabi defeated Al Shamal 16-11
• Al Gharafa crushed Al Sadd 21-4
The two winners advanced to the final match. In the third-place playoff, Al Shamal defeated Al Sadd with a score of 19-15.
