The second round of the 2026-2027 Under-16 Basketball League concluded with Al Sadd defeating Qatar SC 129-47 and Al Rayyan overcoming Al Arabi 83-65 in matches played at the Qatar Basketball Federation Hall.
The opening fixtures of Round 2 also saw Al Gharafa claim an 87-35 victory over Al Khor, while Al Wakrah defeated Al Shamal 59-49. With these results, Al Gharafa, Al Rayyan, and Al Sadd maintained their perfect records by securing their second consecutive victories. Al Ahli had a bye during the second round.
Following the completion of Round 2, Al Gharafa, Al Rayyan, and Al Sadd moved to the top of the standings with four points each. Al Wakrah and Al Ahli have three points apiece, while Al Khor, Al Shamal, Al Arabi, and Qatar SC each hold two points.
Round 1 had witnessed Al Rayyan defeat Qatar SC 98-54, Al Sadd overcome Al Khor 85-35, Al Gharafa beat Al Wakrah 75-49, and Al Ahli secure a 72-48 win over Al Shamal, while Al Arabi had a bye.
League action will continue with Round 3 on November 1 and 8, 2026. On November 1, Al Khor will face Al Shamal, while Qatar SC will take on Al Gharafa. On November 8, Al Arabi will meet Al Sadd, and Al Wakrah will play Al Ahli. Al Rayyan will have a bye in this round.
Round 4 will be held on November 15 and 22, 2026. On November 15, Al Shamal will face Qatar SC, while Al Ahli will take on Al Khor. On November 22, Al Gharafa will meet Al Arabi, and Al Sadd will clash with Al Rayyan. Al Wakrah will have a bye.
Nine clubs are participating in the league: Qatar SC, Al Rayyan, Al Khor, Al Sadd, Al Wakrah, Al Gharafa, Al Ahli, Al Shamal, and Al Arabi.
