The sixth round of the 2025-2026 Qatar Basketball League will conclude on Saturday, 6 December 2025, with two decisive matches that will significantly impact the teams’ standings before moving on to the following rounds.

Both matches will be played at Al Gharafa Hall. The first game will see Al Shamal take on Qatar SC at 6:00 PM, followed by a highly anticipated clash between Al Ahli and Al Arabi at 8:00 PM.

The round features intense competition among the teams, with very close standings at the top of the table. Al Rayyan currently leads the league with 10 points from 5 matches, followed by Al Wakrah in second place with 9 points. Al Arabi sits third with 8 points from 4 matches, level on points with Al Shamal in fourth place, while Al Sadd shares the same points total in fifth position, noting that Al Sadd did not play in this round.

Al Ahli occupies sixth place with 7 points, followed by Al Gharafa in seventh with 6 points. Al Khor is eighth with 5 points, while Qatar SC (Al Malyk Al Qatari) brings up the rear, also with 5 points. This makes Saturday’s match against their rival Al Shamal a golden opportunity for Qatar SC to improve their position in the standings and regain some balance.
