Qatar’s participation comes as part of its technical preparations for one of the continent’s most prominent 3×3 basketball competitions, which has witnessed remarkable growth in popularity and competitiveness across Asia. The event also sees notable Arab representation through the Saudi and Bahraini teams, reflecting the increasing regional interest and expansion of the sport in recent years.

The Qatari delegation in Singapore is headed by Mr. Saadoun Sabah Al-Kuwari, Secretary General of the Qatar Basketball Federation and Director of National Teams, alongside Captain Yaseen Ismail, Director of the 3×3 National Teams.
