The Qatar U19 Basketball League for the 2026-2027 sports season resumed with the second round of fixtures, which saw Qatar SC secure a 91-65 victory over Al Wakrah, while Al Rayyan defeated Al Shamal 114-82. The second round will continue on Monday, October 5, with Al Arabi taking on Al Khor and Al Sadd facing Al Gharafa.

Qatar SC maintained its impressive start to the competition by recording its second consecutive victory, raising its tally to four points. The team had opened its campaign with an 88-57 win over Al Shamal before extending its winning run with a 91-65 triumph over Al Wakrah in the second round.

Al Rayyan, meanwhile, quickly bounced back from its opening-round setback, claiming its first victory of the season with a 114-82 win over Al Shamal. The result lifted Al Rayyan to three points after suffering a narrow 81-79 defeat to Al Ahli in the opening round.

The first round had witnessed Al Sadd defeat Al Khor 90-35, Al Arabi overcome Al Wakrah 74-57, Qatar SC beat Al Shamal 88-57, and Al Ahli edge Al Rayyan 81-79, while Al Gharafa had a bye.

Following the completion of the first and partial second rounds, the provisional standings place Qatar SC at the top with four points, followed by Al Rayyan with three points. Al Ahli, Al Sadd, Al Arabi, Al Shamal, and Al Wakrah each have two points, while Al Khor has one point. Al Gharafa remains without a point after receiving a bye in the opening round and not yet playing its second-round fixture against Al Sadd.

The remaining second-round matches will be played on Monday, October 5, with Al Arabi facing Al Khor at 5:00 PM, followed by Al Sadd against Al Gharafa at 6:30 PM.

Round three will begin on November 3 with Al Wakrah taking on Al Rayyan at 5:00 PM and Al Khor meeting Qatar SC at 6:30 PM. The round will conclude on November 10, when Al Gharafa faces Al Arabi at 5:00 PM and Al Shamal takes on Al Ahli at 6:30 PM, while Al Sadd will have a bye.

In round four, Al Rayyan will play Al Khor and Al Ahli will meet Al Wakrah on November 16. The fixtures scheduled for November 23 will feature Qatar SC against Al Gharafa and Al Arabi against Al Sadd, while Al Shamal will have a bye.
